Rental Policy
Reservations & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your rental date. Reservations are not confirmed until the deposit, rental agreement, and required card authorization have been completed. The remaining balance is due before or at the time of delivery.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event may transfer the deposit to a future rental date within 90 days, subject to availability. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are responsible for the full rental amount. If Christingem must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, all payments will be refunded or applied to a future booking at the customer’s choice.
Damage & Loss
Customers are responsible for all rented equipment from the time of delivery until it is returned and inspected by Christingem. Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received, excluding normal wear and tear.
Customers are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any equipment that is lost, stolen, damaged through misuse, or returned excessively dirty. The card on file may be charged for applicable repair, replacement, cleaning, late return, or collection fees.
Late Returns
Equipment not available for scheduled pickup or returned after the agreed rental period may be subject to additional rental charges.
Weather
Outdoor rentals remain the customer’s responsibility once delivered. Weather-related cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy unless Christingem determines that conditions make delivery or setup unsafe.
Site Readiness
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and accessible delivery, setup, and pickup, including adequate space, parking, water, and electrical access when required. Any necessary permits or venue approvals are the customer’s responsibility. Additional labor or delivery charges may apply if site conditions differ from those provided at the time of booking.
